Mission: The mission of the Friends of the Conservatory of Music is to raise money for scholarships for students at the UMKC Conservatory of Music and raise awareness about the Conservatory in the community.
Programs: The primary role is to help young musicians and dancers pursue their education at the Conservatory. Over the years, membership dues and proceeds from benefit galas have enabled the Friends to make significant scholarship contributions to the Conservatory. In addition to the satisfaction of allowing the Conservatory to attract top students, benefits include invitations to musicales and concerts.
