Mission: The Cold War Museum is dedicated to establishing a historically accurate record of events and personalities related to the Cold War era. Through the procurement and maintenance of Cold War-related records, artifacts, and anecdotes the Museum seeks to: 1. Honor the men and women who served during the Cold War period; 2. Educate the public about the people, places and events of the Cold War and the lessons to be learned; 3. Foster international understanding and enhances prospects for extended world peace by objectively presenting the perceptions that motivated key players in the Cold War; 4. Contribute to the economy in areas where Cold War Museum exhibits or seminars attract tourism.
