Mission: The codex foundation exists to preserve and promote the hand-made book as a work of art in the broadest possible context and to bring to public recognition the artists, the craftsmanship, and the rich history of the civilization of the book.
Programs: The codex foundation is organizing biennial symposiums focused on the art of hand printed books. The symposium provides an opportunity to discuss and examine the best and most current work of international group of book artists. It features prominent speakers and educators.
