Programs: TCF was started in 1995 by a group of concerned citizens who wanted to bring about social change through education. In 29 years, it has built and operates 2,033 purpose-built schools providing quality education to 301,000 children, with an all-female faculty of 14,700 teachers. TCF's education programs comprise of customized textbooks in its schools, in-depth teacher training and quality assurance. Alongside education programs, TCF has also been running community programs including adult literacy program, installation of water plants and vocational training for women.
