Mission: To support, stimulate and foster women's participation and leadership in local, national, and global affairs, and offer vital training, programming, and resources that empower women.
Programs: Our leadership institute provided a week-long series of conferences, trainings, and workshops on women's leadership for 25 younger college-aged women.
our food for thought series offered 8 evening dinner/lectures focused on topics of interest to our women members and their guests. On average, about 50 guests attend each dinner. There are approximately 250 active invitees to this program.
our kicking up our heels event at the governor's mansion was attended by 180 women legislators, cabinet officials, and members of key state boards and commissions. Various presenters discussed local, regional, state, federal, and international benchmarks of women's empowerment.
our global networking program launched applications for our 2015 delegation to iceland and our communcations program updated our website and created new center membership cards.
