Mission: The foundation was created to provide a safe and secure environment to display two 13th century frescoes. The frescoes were returned to their origin, the church of cyprus, in march 2012 and the foundation was liquidated on november 26, 2012.
Programs: The byzantine fresco chapel was built in the menil neighborhood expressly to house two thirteenth-century byzantine frescoes that had been looted from their original home in a small chapel in lysi, cyprus. The chapel was open to the public free of charge wednesdays through sundays (except for major holidays) from 11 am to 6 pm. The frescoes were returned to the church of cyprus in march 2012.
