The ARC of Iroquois County provides people with intellectual disabilities residential and vocations opportunities they otherwise would not have, particularly in the rural, "small town" environment where they provide their services. I have a family member who has been a participant in the ARC programming for well over 30 years and the impact they have had on the quality of her life cannot be overstated. The current budget priorities in both Springfield and Washington are leaving people with disabilities and programs such as the ARC out in the cold and that is why it is imperative that the public step in to fill these needs. As you are making your decision as to where to place your charitable contributions, I humbly suggest you consider the ARC of Iroquois County.
