Mission: The mission of The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties is to provide support, training, and opportunities to people with intellectual disabilities and their families. The Arc empowers people to achieve their highest level of independence and become contributing, responsible and proud members of society. The Arc works to educate the public and to inspire public policy, and promotes the realization of a fulfilled life for all people.
Target demographics: Adults Aging/Elderly/Senior Citizens Children and Youth (infants - 19 years.) Disabled, General or Disability Unspecified
Geographic areas served: Central PA (Dauphin County, Cumberland County, Perry County)
Programs: Residential services - a community-based program to provide housing and teach every day skills in group homes, apartments or private family residential environments.
sheltered workshop - a facility where individuals with disabilities are taught to perform job duties and learn the skills to gain outside employment.
early education service - a service provided to the local community to provide developmental day care and before/after school care programs for infant through school age children.
