Programs: Education program - aasha provides the funding for girls living in orphanges and shelters to attend private schools for k-12. Aasha funding includes school fees, after school tutoring, and supplies (uniforms, bags, shoes and rain gear). Aasha also provides the funding for higher education, including vocational training, college tuition, college housing and living expenses.

health and well-being program - aasha provides funding for the health and well being of girls living in orphanages and shelters. Aasha funding includes basic preventative healthcare such as yearly dental exams, eye exams, eyeglasses and physicals. Aasha funding also includes physical well being programs for yoga and basketball class. In addition aasha provides funding for mental health care, including counseling, therapy, and medication as needed. Finally, aasha provides girls with "personal essentials" including deodorant and feminine hygiene products to address personal hygiene and comfort.

life skills and recreation programs - aasha provides funding for activities that provide opportunities for girls living in orphanages and shelters to interact in public social settings and enjoy similar life experiences as their middle-class peers. Life skills activities include overnight trips, outings for shopping, to restaurants, and to the movies. Activities also include celebrating birthdays with cakes, candles and small parties.

computer program - aasha provides the funding for a computer lab at the sharanam centre for girls. Aasha funding includes computers, it support and maintenance, replacement parts (i. E. Keyboards, mouse), lab infrastructure and broad band internet. Aasha also provides the funding for computer instruction. Grants 109 expenses 585 horizons program - aasha provides funding for activities that help prepare young women to become employed, self sufficient and financially independent. The horizons program includes summer internships and associated costs such as transporttaion, travel and professional clothing.
