Programs: In honduras, we drilled 9 new water wells (5 producing) and installed pumps to provide safe drinking for the following villages: santa rosa (dry hole), libertad acebache (compressor broke), los robles, la angustura, nueava esperanza, nuevo collolar (well collapsed), corral falso (dry hole), la cocepcion, la merced. These new wells will benefit approximately 700 hondurans in these rural communities. 7 of these projects were part of a matching grant funded by the rotary foundation and world vision. Drilling expenses at all sites include honduran drillers and labor, diesel fuel, food, water, and construction supplies. Health and hygiene classes were also provided for the communities surrounding the 9 drill sites, benefiting approximately 350 persons. Mission teams traveled to and worked in honduras on 2 trips. The executive director made 3 trips for management oversight and administration.
