Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services, Residential Care & Adult Day Programs
Mission: When a family member survived a traumatic brain injury in 1984, we discovered there were no facilities in our area where these people could live. The only alternatives were geriatric nursing homes. After twelve years of fundraising, blood, sweat and tears, Terry Home, Inc. was opened in 1996. It is a ten-bed boarding home for young adults who have survived a traumatic brain injury. It is a place where they can continue to work toward a more independent lifestyle. Our mission is to promote purpose, privacy, and independence for each resident in a comfortable home-like atmosphere.
