Mission: Social services provide low income families with counseling and training programs. The programs are delivered through diverse educational training couples couples with "best practices" of clinical intervention, life skills and job placement support services within the urban communities of new jersey.
Programs: Substance abuse and mental health (samsha) program: substance abuse program to improve the quality and availability of substance abuse protection, alchohol and drug addiction treatment and mental health services. Serving 250 clients
work force nj dol: the states work first nj program emphasizes work as a first step to a better future. Our goal is to transition people off welfare by equipping them with employment, job training, education and work activities. Serving 275 clients
ryan white essex and ryan white passaic programs: the ryan white program provides hiv-related services. The program is available to individuals who do not have the health coverage or the financial resources for coping with the hiv disease. Serving 240 clients (175 in essex county and 65 in passaic county)
life skills foundation to transition from welfare to work. Teenage transitional alternative project, health education for alternative lifestyles to assist hiv/aids and substance abuse families. Traditional program for incarcerated women, temporary housing, prison reentry program placement and career developement programs.
