Programs: Ttc's efforts to improve service outcomes are focused on three major program services:1) substance use disorders sud treatment services (formerly called alcohol and other drug - aod)ttc has been a leader in providing substance abuse treatment services in los angeles county. Ttc treats addictions to all habit-forming substances. Ttc provides detoxification, residential and outpatient treatment services to adult and youth populations which are appropriate and culturally responsive. Ttc's commitment to integrated behavioral healthcare helps to focus on recovering for an addiction without the additional stress of seeking outside help for medical care or mental health treatment. In 2016, ttc served a total of 4,889 sud patients: 1) 2,009 (41%) received detoxification services; 2) 1,330 (27%) participated in residential treatment; and 3) 1,550 (32%) received outpatient services.
2) mental health servicessince 1972, ttc has been providing services to individuals and families with mental health issues, including those with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health issues. Ttc aims that a majority of patients served will improve physical and mental health conditions and will be drug-free. During 2016, a total of 1,841 patients with substance abuse and mental health disorders participated in a co-occurring treatment program.
3) primary and special care servicesttc is licensed by the state of california department of health services to provide primary care services. Ttc has five primary medical care facilities located in the san fernando and antelope valleys. Ttc's mission is addressing the health care needs of the community's underserved population. During 2016, ttc's primary care clinics served a total of 6,051 patients with an average of 4. 4 visits per patient. All patients served were below 100% of the federal poverty level. A total of 3,630 patients (16,001 visits) received primary care in the san fernando valley, 1,720 patients (6,497 visits) obtained services in the antelope valley and 701 (4,267 visits) had services in palmdale during 2016. On average, patients had 4. 4 visits per patient in the san fernando valley, 3. 8 visits per patient in antelope valley and 6. 0 visits per patient in palmdale. Ttc serviced an estimated 1,024 clients for hiv/aids services in 2016. Among this client population, 11% received substance abuse treatment and 9% had mental health services. More than one type of service was provided to some patients. Ttc and it's hiv community clinic are succeeding in assisting the government in meeting the national healthy people 2013 objectives for expanding hiv counseling and testing services and increasing the number of primary care programs that provide comprehensive hiv services. Ttc's efforts are contantly geared towards meeting the demand of underserved persons living with hiv/aids (plwha) in l. A. County seeking primary care services.
other services provided by ttc are (1) assessment, (2) hiv and hep c screening, (3) smoking cessation/tobacco control, (4) methadone maintenance, (5) vivitrol, (6) medication assisted treatment-mat, (7) wraparound program, (8) pbhci, (9) telehealth.
