Causes: Education, Elementary & Secondary Schools, Literacy
Mission: Tampa bay christian academy of florida will be educating for eternity by seeking to nurture the spirit, mind, and body of the international and culturally diverse pre-kindergarten through 12th grade student population through a christ centered, developmentally appropriate and safe educational environment. Our goal when in operation is to partner with families and churches to enable students to develop and apply a biblical worldview to become servant leaders in a changing world.
Programs: Tampa bay christian academy has been providing world class education to a diverse student population for 60 years. Our students come from all over the city, state, country and world. Our students come from numerous backgrounds; varies socio-economic backgrounds and represent varied learning abilities from advanced to those with sever learning disabilities. Our graduates have gone on to become doctors, lawyers, pastors, teachers, police officers, sheriffs, mothers, fathers, coaches, servicemen- army, navy, air force, marines and coast guard, philanthropists, ceo's. One graduate received the prestigious rhodes scholarship. We serve over 260 students each year. Our tips program, which serves students with learning disabilities, has achieved remarkable results- with students who were labeled "unable to learn- having now completed college and other post-secondary education and now serving their communities in professions such as coaching, preaching, teaching and business. The impact on the community is long-lasting and far-reaching, preparing the future to impact not only our community here in tampa and world-wide.
