I have visited Tamerlaine Sanctuary a few times for tours. Both private and public tours. Every experience I’ve had there is very personal, educational, and beautiful! The animals are so well cared for and loved. It’s my favorite sanctuary to visit and support. I also have been to their Flocktoberfest, and that was great too! Was so nice to be around people with the same morals, sharing vegan food at a fun event, and more importantly for a very good cause. I look forward to visiting again, and volunteering soon. Thank you ALL at Tamerlaine for your hearts of gold and pure dedication to caring for these beautiful animals.

Visited the farm during Flocktoberfest in 2019. The farm itself is beautiful and the people caring for the animals, Gabrielle, Peter and all of their assistants and volunteers are amazing.
The animals are so friendly and curious, it's obvious they are respected, loved, and well-cared for. The team at Tamerlaine is always ready to lend a hand to animals in need and rescue at a moment's notice to those in emergency situations. Their social media pages and website are fun and interesting to follow and keep up with all the happenings at the farm from teaching school children about humane living to collaborating with legislators to new animals being rescued and upcoming events. I just love it there and wish I didn't live so far away! Many thanks to everyone at Tamerlaine for their hard work, dedication, and love for the animals. ~ Reia B

Tamerlaine is such a special place. We have visited a bunch of times and each time we learn so much. If you visit you will be able to spend time with the wonderful animals and learn about how to live a healthier life. And all of this in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Visit and donate—it’s a really good cause.

Tamerlaine Sanctuary changed my life! I first visited them 7 years ago and my life hasn’t been the same sense. Not only is this beautiful animal sanctuary a safe haven for so many abused and neglected animals but it also serves as a sanctuary for us, the human visitors and supporters. This sanctuary is a special place where we get to reintroduce ourselves to Mother Nature and the many different animals who call this planet home. The animals serve as ambassadors for their species teaching us all that these animals, which are so often overlooked by society are individuals just like you and I, are far more similar to us than different. Tamerlaine Sanctuary truly helped me find myself and helped me to become the man I am today. I highly recommend visiting and volunteering here and reconnecting with yourself in the process.

I went here for the first time 5 years ago and it has had a profound impact on my life. This beautiful sanctuary made me a better person and inspired me to live a better life. I loved meeting all the animals and hearing their stories. This is an excellent place to bring anyone looking to learn more about the world and how we as humans can relate better to animals.

I've worked at several sanctuaries, zoos, and veterinary offices. I first heard about Tamerlaine when my kid took a virtual tour with his class and wouldn't stop talking about it. We drove over two hours just to visit and have since gone back several times. Even my "cool" middle schooler begs to come and bring friends, and it is such a joy to see them transform back into kids.

Personally, I've never seen an animal care facility so incredibly clean, nor the animals so well-tended. Every person you ask there can tell you about any animal's backstory. All of this speaks to the level of care and LOVE the animals experience. The sanctuary itself is stunning with lakes, hills, and a farmhouse older than our country. My daughter would be very disappointed if I didn't mention the many farmcats that run like dogs to be pet. Highly recommend for anyone with our without kids, any animal lover, nature lover, or even history lover.

One more thing: I was there one weekend when they were setting up a WEDDING. My husband and I were married at a sanctuary, and ugh, was I jealous when I saw this one. GO. It's worth the trip!!!

Tamerlaine was the first deep dive into volunteering and working not for profit for me. The team spirit and attitude towards the cause were so inspiring, that I'm working on my own charity project now. The biggest donors of the farm are the founders, which tells a lot about dedication to the cause and true desire to change the world.

Tamerlaine Sanctuary performs extraordinary work which is not only demonstrated by their care of Tamerlaine's rescued animals, but through their invaluable humane education offered to the public. The staff and animal caregivers are second to none and exhibit compassion in all they do. Visitors have the opportunity to witness Tamerlaine's rescued residents in a loving and peaceful setting that is their forever home. What a wonderful experience!

Sanctuaries perform an essential role--not just in rescuing animals in dire need but also spreading the word about how to prevent the suffering in the first place. Tamerlaine is a true beacon in this vital mission. When visiting or donating to a sanctuary it's important to recognize that there are all sorts—from "micro-sanctuaries" run by a single person or two, using social media to over-amplify their impact, to corporate entities raising millions with professional fundraising departments, where the animals become cogs in the cashflow wheel. The Northeast is rich with both kinds, but Tamerlaine is the rare exception--a place run by genuine and lovely people working really hard, and doing truly fantastic work. Your donations there don't go to management making 6-figures, but really do go towards the animals and their care. Tamerlaine gives its animals wonderful lives, and the care of every animal--from the largest steer to the smallest bird--is based upon what's best for that animal. Don't take my word for it, though. If you can, I highly recommend you go and see for yourself. If you want a warm, personal and genuine experience connecting with these vital animal ambassadors, Tamerlaine won't disappoint.

Tamerlaine's work for farmed animals is awe-inspiring. The care they give to their animals is top-notch and the love they show to them is palpable. The founders are tireless in their work and their commitment to their mission of rescuing, rehabilitating and advocating for the animals is impressive, to say the least. A visit to their sanctuary can be a life-altering experience for those who have never had a chance to meet cows, pigs, chickens, etc in an environment where they are seen and treated as beloved individuals who are worthy of our respect and compassion. We are big fans!!!

Wonderful, caring community devoted to farmed animal rescue and rehabilitation. Gorgeous surroundings and excellent care of pigs, chickens, goats, cows, sheep, geese and turkeys! The founders are clearly also committed to preservation and humane education. A must-see, "must-support" for anyone who cares about animals!

From the moment I discovered Tamerlaine, I knew I wanted to be involved in helping them achieve their mission. This was even more evident after meeting Gaby and Peter and the animals in their care. Caring, compassionate, and with a clear goal of what they wish to achieve. I appreciate the way they teach their message of compassion towards all living beings with no judgement towards those just learning how farmed animals are treated.
What a loving, feel good organization that I am proud to support.
