Causes: Mental Health, Sexual Assault Services
Mission: Provide crisis services, support, and advocacy to victims, non-offending family members, and others who are impacted by crime. We strive to create and maintain a community without violence through prevention-based education.
Programs: Support, advocacy and resource center (sarc) provides crisis intervention, support, medical and legal advocacy, on-site counseling, information and referrals to victims and others impacted by crime. Provide prevention-based education to the community. Sarc served 334 new clients, provided 890 services and made 252 contacts with other agencies/persons on the clients' behalf during the clients' initial visit. Staff and volunteers answered 666 crisis calls and calls for information and referral, 45 of those calls after hours. Sarc invested 353 hours of services toward new clients at intake. 79% of new clients were female, and 21% were male. Sarc also provided 6,311 follow up services to clients and made 1,456 contacts with other agencies on their behalf. Sarc advocates also made 633 attempted contacts with clients or others. 1,600 hours were invested in follow up services and contacts.
