Causes: Arts & Culture, Theater
Mission: To empower young people through performance arts, education and the creation of outstanding theatrical and musical art.
Programs: The superior arts youth theater is open to youth from ages 3 to 18 years old and produces a series of performances and workshops ranging from full productions at kaufman auditorium to community events and special performances. During this year there an average of 100 youth participants in each of 3 productions and 4,500 patrons (including 2,000 youth attendees). Productions and events included: cinderella musical, schoolhouse rock live jr musical, an eight week summer camp series, shrek jr musical and other special event performances.
