I was given the opportunity to take the class that was offered. I was at my ends rope in all situations at that point in my life. I was hoping in some way that the class would change my life and give me a new start in my life. The whole experience changed my life in so many ways, there is no way to even begin to thank all the people who made that possible. I am now employed and soon to have a car, paid in full. Everyone involved in the program was so helpful and I can't even explain an words how much I learned.

I was given the opportunity to meet Mike Kennedy, president & CEO of suncoast community capital.
He is a wonderful person who is always willing to help. I could talk to him and get a little bit further on what he does. Nowadays, his job is more than useful because of the economic situation that we are living. I strongly recommend everybody who needs help to get it.
He is trying to find a student that would be willing to serve on his board. It is a fantastic experience that for sure is going to make you grow.
Don't doubt to contact him if you come up with questions and/or want to participate in some way.

Suncoast Community Capital assisted in the IRS tax filing prep after I learned my sweet 81-yr "young" Mom had been financially scammed by fake Publisher's Clearing House telemarketing reps...and later we learned Mom was officially diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Great team from Suncoast discussed how to report the financial loss and be able to have IRS documentation for future tax filing deductions. THANKS TEAM!!

Suncoast Community Capital also was helpful in the 2011 tax filing for my Mom. My Dad had passed away in spring 2011; Suncoast prepped the tax filing and when they tried to submit the tax filing electronically, they uncovered that my Dad's identity had been stolen. Suncoast advised us that we needed to meet with the Sheriff's department to get a case number, and then to meet with the IRS. Yes, the IRS confirmed that someone had already (fraudulently) filed for a significant $$ tax refund using my Dad's SSN. -- In fact, this was the second year that criminal used my Dad's SSN. (We had NOT turned to Suncoast for the 2010 tax prep. Now they are the only tax prep place we trust.)
