Causes: Hot Lines & Crisis Intervention, Mental Health, Suicide Prevention
Mission: Span idaho's mission is to eradicate suicide in idaho through statewide advocacy, collaboration and eduction in best practices. Span has created statewide regional chapters to carry out prevention efforts at the local level, and regularly conduct training conferences with nationally recognized speakers.
Programs: Span idaho is dedicated to the eradication of suicide through the following activities:a. Increase public awareness of suicide as a significant problem in idahob. Support the implementation of the idaho suicide prevention planc. Help provide leadership in coordinating suicide prevention activities in idahod. Build on-going partnerships with suicide prevention agencies and otehr stakeholders locally and nationally. E. Give voice to individuals and families affected by suicide in idahof. Help remove the stigma associated with suicide and mental illnessg. Develop additional resources for suicide prevention in the state of idaho.
