Mission: The sterling hill mining museum is dedicated to the preservation, interpretation, understanding, and appreciation of the history of mining, mining technology, mineralogy, and geology unique to the state of new jersey through scientific research and educational programs.
Programs: Expenses incurred to maintain sterling hill mine and the museum housing mineral collections and artifacts; provide guided tours; sell mining objects and various minerals, rocks and fossils.
