Mission: STEM is a Christian short-term mission agency that trains and leads teams of volunteers to provide assistance to local communities in 14 developing nations. Teams also work in US urban communities. These teams work with local Christians leaders to share the gospel while helping to address poverty needs through acts of service. With 20 years of short-term mission experience, STEM also sponsors an annual training conference for short-term mission leaders of every denomination. STEM seeks to help sending churches and agencies (an estimated 40,000 in the US) to do short-term mission with excellence, effectiveness, and accountability.
