Mission: The spca of pittsylvania county is committed to rescuing adoptable animals from impoundment and euthanasia, so they can be placed in proper homes. This is acheived primarily through vetting, fostering, and placing the animals in their respective homes.
Programs: Costs associated with bringing recovered animals back up to condition in which they can be adopted. Primarily consists of veterinary fees for check ups and medicine.
boarding animals that have already been rescued and cared for medically. Animals are fed and bathed for the duration that they are waiting to be adopted.
