Mercy Partners has extended invitations to people to provide help, hope, and love to those who have outstanding needs by meeting opportunities with resources. They excel in accountablity and clarity.
Mercy Partners is one of the few nonprofits that have great countability 89 cents of every dollar goes direct to projects!
Without the power of the Holy Spirit, missions are doomed to failure from the start John Stott once saidl that Nothing more is needed for the Christian mission in the modern age than a healthy fusion of humility and humanity in our reliance on the power of the Holy Spirit. - Mercy partners is such a mission. They have somehow become relative through their display of mercy without prerequisite where colonialist mission culture have lost their meaning and may have always lacked the ability to empower the nationals because they make them dependant.
I had visited their booth at a conference and met the founders. It is clear they have a heart for the work that they are doing and emphasize the Great Commission. Humanitarian aid is just a tool that can be used in a good way or could really hurt people. By assimilating with the people that they are call to serve, these people really reflect Jesus. I have been a partner with them for 5 years - Denise M.
They have a good handle on balancing humanitarian aid with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Some organizations weigh in heavy on one end of the scales or the other. I heard Tom once say that education itself does not bring salvation and that by providing mercy the national Christians are able to really show the love and care to their earth worshipping neighbors. - I believe this has been the success of their work and since they are sensitive to the local Christians and their responsibility to reach their own people, I became a partner. The newsletters and monthly updates are an encouragement to know that I am making a difference in other people life. I really regard them as top notch.
I'm blessed and honored to serve as a board member of this incredible ministry. It gives me the opportunity to be part of the necessary bridge of one culture to another, with the purpose of looking forward to the fulfillment of Revelation 5:9-10, which reads: "And they sang a new song, saying, : 'Worthy are you, to take the book, and to open the seals; because you were slain and have redeemed us to Elohim by your blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation; and you have made them kings and priests to our Elohim; and they reign on the earth.'" - Mickey Witcher
Incredible ministry in a god-forsaken area of the world. I found out about Mercy Partners when I read the book - Bridging cultures for Christ. All I can say is wow! - After reading I checked out their website and made a small contribution. I actually got a hand written thank you and an update on what difference I have made in the lives of people living in famine. I shared the info with my church because we rarely hear from the missionaries we support. Yes I recommend Mercy Partners as a great non profit that is making an change in the world in the name of Jesus Christ when many are scared to even share what they are doing.
We began to partner with Mercy Partners in 2010 thinking that it was a good way to add to the kingdom of God. We had not realized what impact would be made. We receive a update on how our donation is making an impact every time we contribute. I understand why the mission is called what it is. They really have great insight for how to make the most impact and allow others such as myself impact. No, I can't go to conflict zones, but I can by being a partner and changing lives in South Sudan as well as other places on earth. - I am grateful that my partnership will be my legacy.
I'm continually amazed at the work Mercy Partners does in a very dangerous and frankly overlooked part of the world. Tom and Co. provide much needed ministry to the neglected regions of South Sudan.
I haven't been able to support them like I wanted but I intend to in the future. Money well spent.

A mission that really reaches the lost. That brings health and hope. Sharing God's Mercy in some unmerciful places. Tom and Sandie are true servants of the Lord Jesus Christ!
As a representative of a Non Governmental Organization overseeing humanitarian aid, I am impressed with the impact that Mercy Partners has made among the people we attempt to serve. Organizations have delays in dispersing care, however, this Christian charity has empowered national teams to care for the people within their own village which provides a direct transmission from the church to the people who need assistance - simply, they have not fostered dependency that is so prevalent in the country. They are an example that many organizations should follow, therefore, I have made the recommendation that they be recognized as a great non profit - field operations & mobilization FTC. 18 years experience.
