Mission: Spark-y provides youth with action-oriented labs, in and out of the classroom, that empower young people with stem education, job experience, and a place to test and grow sustainable solutions in our modern communities.
Programs: Spark-y provides 3 major areas of youth involvement and empowerment: 1) action-oriented labs in science classrooms, focused on stem education and job preparation. 2) annual internship rooted in community outreach and sustainable projects, providing real-world job experience and active learning. 3) a year-round urban agriculture lab, that utilizes sustainable growing practices and serves as a youth job path and business feasibility test ground.
