I used to be one of the clients help by their former program of job train I was paid $1.00 per hour and NO the cash amount is not a typo it was one dollar U.S. per hour around 2013 or so I was poorly treated as a twenty two year old man with aspbuerger cursed out by a manager who had no formal training in metal health development nor any of the managers or board members of spark life services then I met with an employee (after being fired for bringing this to the attention of the managers and board members after an arguement) and found out that they charge at total of 46 clients they claim to have since twenty ten $1,000 per month for them to receive help as they cannot get. Home health tech to do this pro bono understandable but I also know that having spoke with her and a few other that in a three year spand of time the only pay raise they received was the Louisiana State minimum pay raise and are allowed no vacation time payed or no allowed no sick days payed or no and even during COVID 19 the clients are force to ask the health techs that are in quarantine to come and work be cause of deliberate under staffing. After meet three employees and know them for almost three years now I also know that the main office empoyees and board member enjoy one to two pay raises a year as well as two to three paid vacations per year of an average of two weeks apiece and over a month of paid sick days and misc absences a year as well as the employees are not given any sort of insurance options or retirement options no matter how long they have worked with exception of management who belong to the board or work main office the office btw is all but a front after 2015
