Causes: Community Coalitions
Mission: The league is a non-partisan, non-profit membership organization that represents a number of municipalities of the space coast and a number of associate governments, non-profits and business associations. The purpose is to promote and advance the collective interest of the municipalities of the space coast in florida; to study municipal issues and seek desired results through cooperative effort; to respect the principles of home rule.
Programs: League dinners - the space coast league of cities holds a number of dinner meetings. These dinners are open to the elected officials and their guest and other members. The purpose of the dinner is primarily educational in nature. Alternating host juridictions choose a location for the dinner and issues that are current and of concern to the voting members are discussed.
scholarship - the space coast league of cities annually co-sponsors, with corporate donors, and co-presents a scholarship for students with a permanent residence in the space coast area.
