Causes: Disaster Aid, Disaster Preparedness & Relief Services, Public Safety, Disaster Preparedness & Relief, Search & Rescue Squads
Mission: Our mission is providing training, tools, supplies and more to the citizens of Kaufman County for the developement and maintance of Citizen Corps CERT teams. Utilizing volunteer members that have completed the CERT training, we are able to be first responders to various emergencies in and around our county. Using the guidelines provided by the US Citizen Corps program, we are able to insure that our citizens are able to remain functional during the first 72 hours of an emergency, when outside help may not be able to assist.
