Mission: Southern ute community action programs, inc. 's mission is to empower community members of all ages to recognize and reach their full potential by providing select programs and services in order to create better communities. Southern ute community action programs, inc. Aspires to continue excellence in programming to achieve increased capacity for responsive program development and become widely known as the organization that can create effective solutions for community issues. Southern ute community action programs, inc. Will continue to provide effective programs that are responsive to individual and community needs, that honor our diverse cultural backgrounds and our inherent need to help each other, with compassion, accountability and commitment.
Programs: Children's education services: provides preschool programs and family services to eligible families. The program served 200 children in 2017.
substance abuse treatment: provides eligible participants with alcohol and drug abuse assistance through in-patient and out-patient treatment, and other educational seminars and awareness activities. In 2017, 332 people benefited from the program. 51 of them were residential clients.
job training: consists of activities to provide eligible participants with basic education, job training skills, and employment placement assistance. In 2017, 1,522 people benefited from the program.
