Causes: Employment Preparation & Procurement, Job Training
Mission: Sucdc's purpose is community and economic development. We focus on local business expansion and retention. We also benefit the community with scholarships, drug addiction preventionand education in the workplace, recycling effort support and other worthy community efforts.
Programs: The busniness and expansion program visitied numerous companies in the immediate area, and provided help and referrals to assistance. This effort provided direct cash benefits to the businesses by increasing company revenues and increasing investments in new plant and equipment.
utah state university - eastern raises scholarship funds from our outreach efforts and payroll deductions. All raised funds go directly to the scholarship fund with no overhead or expense.
we utilize our outreach programs to collect donations for a variety of governmental (educational) and charitable entities serving our local area. Some examples entities benefited include kiwanis, the children's justice center, active re-entry, the united way, and gas card program to benefit those forced to travel to receive medical care for life threatening conditions.
other programs and grant include the children's justice center, the carbon county green team, and boys & girls club of carbon county.
