Mission: Since 1893, the Society has maintained a research library and museum, open to members and the public at no charge, and from time to time publishes a journal containing material relevant to its purpose, which is sent to members at no charge. Non-members may subscribe to this journal for a nominal sum as determined from time to time by the Board of Directors. The Library's 110-year old collection, which exceeds 25,000 titles, specializes in genealogical and early American history resources with emphasis on the Colonial and Revolutionary War period and 19th century America. It has a fine collection of 18th and 19th century vital records, family histories, American military history and English genealogy. Many of these resources are not found elsewhere.
