Causes: Domestic Fraternal Societies
Mission: The organization's mission is to encourage the study of italian language and culture in american schools and universities; preserving italian american traditions, culture, history and heritage, and promoting closer cultural relations between united states and italy.
Programs: Educational scholarships: are awarded on a yearly basis to children of ldoge members who apply and meet the criteria. The organization prmotes further education from high school thru college. Scholarhip amounts range from 500 to 1,000. Italian cultural language classes: are held yearly at summer camp in the new castle area and is open to anyone interested. The prince of piedmont lodge sponsors four (4) persons at a cost of 250 each year. Bocce leages: the bocce leagues have been established, not only with the members, but for state and local lodges to continue an italian heritage in the community. During bocce league light fair is provided to all who attend. Holiday dinners: new year's day, good friday, easter sunday, july 4th, thanksgiving, christmas. The organization provide free buffet meals to all members as a gesture of hospitality.
