Mission: Somerville-cambridge elder services promotes the right of all individuals to live with dignity, in the setting of their choice by offering older people, younger people with disabilities, and caregivers the information, services and support needed to make choices which enhance health, well being and independence.
Programs: Home care provides state-subsidized services to eligible older residents of cambridge and somerville who need assistance. This program is funded primarily by government contracts. Program service revenues generated from this program include client co-pays.
adult family care provides a supportive family environment for people with disabilities who need personal care and housing. This program is supported primarily by medicaid funding.
nutrition program provides meals to elderly and disabled in a congregate setting or with home delivery for those who are home bound.
