Mission: The corporation is organized to furnish subscribers in the franchised television cable carrier viewing area of anson/madison/mohegan maine and surrounding communities with quality programming and information in accordance with the u. S. Fcc regulations as pertains to public access television, including, but not limited to, local governmental information, educational and training venues in the field of television production for students and adults, promotion of viewing-area business and non-profit activities and equipment availability for production of same.
Programs: All local area government (town and school) board meetings are taped and televised numerous times in the days following the live meeting allowing area residents to be kept up on local government proceedings. Numerous non-profit and school activities are taped and televised in the days following the live event such as ball games, drama performances, local celebrations and events, again allowing area residents to view area activities after the live event. Videos of local areas and points of interest such as walking/hiking/biking trails are prepared and televised for area residents and visitors to the area. The videos are also uploaded to the station's you tube page for viewing. Local 'talk shows' are produced promoting and discussing various topics of interest to general audiences. A scrolling bulletin board with upcoming events and activities keeps area residents and visitors up to date on what is going on in the community. Video equipment is available to anyone who wishes to tape an event that might be of interest to general audiences.
