Mission: The solutions project accelerates the transition to 100% clean energy by championing a movement that is more inclusive, more collaborative, and more celebratory. Through storytelling, grantmaking, and capacity building, we honor clean energy leaders, invest in promising solutions, and build relationships between unlikely allies. We work to make renewable energy a reality for everyone.
Programs: Public awareness - increase of public awareness and education about the path to 100% clean, renewable energy and celebration of community leaders working to bring clean energy to their neighborhoods through our one100 series. Awarded 12 heroes with one100 awards for their work to make clean energy possible in highland park, michigan and atlanta, georgia. Led a 6-month campaign in atlanta, georgia, to celebrate its commitment to a just transition to 100% clean energy.
ecosystem - facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing through convenings and briefings by building collaboration across business, science, culture and communities. Convened dozens of national organizations for strategic discussions and alignment to advance climate solutions and just transitions.
grantmaking - support to organizations and leaders who are removing barriers to affordable, clean energy by providing them with funding, training, tools and collaborative relationship connections to aid their work. Provided grant funds to over 50 organizations through the leadership, fighter and ecosystem funds. Launched a spokesperson training program for grantees.
