Smithsonnia Children's Home USA Inc. (SCH) is a program in Mattru Jong, Sierra Leone West Africa to provide food, shelter and education for orphans and vulnerable children in that town. It was begun by director Massah Smith, a native of Mattru Jong now living in Virginia. It is the parent program for Sonnia House, the on site program that provides daily food, shelter and school uniforms and tuition for 125 children. At present, we are involved with raising funds for school uniforms and tuition for the new school year there. We MUST have these for the kids to be able to go to school.
