Mission: The mission of smile network international is straightforward: to provide free reconstructive surgeries for individuals born with cleft lips and palates in developing countries.
Programs: Smile network international performed 147 cleft lip and palate surgeries on 3 continents during it's most recent reporting period. All surgeries were performed by medical professionals donating their time and services to smile network international. In addition to operating sites in (1) lima, peru (2) puebla, mexico and (3) hyderabad, india, the organization also expanded to include new mission sites in guatemala, the philippines and china for future missions. Each surgery performed is valued at 3,870 by the organization. The organization also began collarborating with the mayo clinic in rochester, minnesota to fly in special cases with partner delta air lines.
