Mission: Our mission is to help slavic refugees who immigrated from the former soviet union as they encounter social and economic problems of intergration into our american society and the american lifestye. To create united slavic-american family that is literally busting at the seams to work each day and this helps fulfill our passionate social and economic mission. To provide a welcoming enviroment in which people can develope friendships and extend their support networks in exchanging ideas. To be an appropriate community developement center that encourages people participation in the affairs of their community. To help russian speaking community members to be socially integrated and knowledgeable. To equip newly arrived russian speaking people with the information and skill needed to accommodate mainstream culture and systems. To defend the interests of the russian speaking communities by advocating on their behalf, many federal and loal laws which effect their beliefs, traditions and cult
Programs: Slavic community center helped 250 low income family children with christmas gifts. Initiated a vote assisting event and helped register and vote;over 300 families. Gathered over 200 families to build and support american-russian culture and community values. Slavic festival over 10,000 russian-speaking community to maintain cultural values and grow the american dream.
