Mission: The SladeChild Foundation, founded in 1983, is dedicated to providing the five essentials of life -- food, clothing, shelter, education and medical care -- to the most destitute children worldwide. They live in untold poverty, corruption, despair, and pollution. Some are orphans, some are abused, some are handicapped many are castaways rejected by their own parents, families and society. Sometimes their plight is due to the destruction of farmland, waterways, and other natural resources. Some live in the midst of war, some are refugees. International and US projects who help these children are funded. 100% of donations go towards the care of the children. There is no administrative overhead deducted because the Trustees, who themselves accept no compensation, pay for all overhead, administrative and fund-raising expenses. The goal of SladeChild is to provide the maximum amount of aid to destitute children. The SladeChild Foundation maximizes its resources by working directly with people-to-people projects around the world, including several projects in Central and South America that shelter, cloth, feed, educate, and doctor the region's most needy children. The Foundation targets the specific projects themselves, bypassing foreign governmental intervention completely.
Programs: Sladechild foundation charitable trust provides relief to the five essentials of life: food, clothing, shelter, education and medical care to destitute children worldwide, without discrimination, through ten (13) recipient charitable organizations.
