Singing Women of Texas (Southeast Chapter) is a group of supportive, caring, friendly Christian women. Being part of this talented and dedicated group has been an amazing experience. The songs we sing are inspiring to me as well as to our audiences. If you enjoy singing, want to expand your vocal skills. and desire to minister to others, I encourage you to become a member of Singing Women of Texas.
Sharing with others in Singing Women of Texas is such a joyful privilege. When we sing at nursing homes and retirement centers, the residents express deep appreciation for the opportunity to hear quality choral music. Our church concerts allow us to fellowship and encourage local congregations.
I highly recommend becoming involved with this nonprofit organization. You will be sharing the love of Christ through music and ministry.

Melodies and lyrics enrich my life and it is an honor to share those melodies and lyrics to encourage and inspire others. As a volunteer in SWOT - SE, I have opportunities to represent Our lord and serve Him. Our singing sisters enhance our music skills as well as experience sweet fellowship and Spiritual growth as we diligently prepare for concerts and ministry events. "I will sing to the Lord, for He has been good to me." Psalm 13:6
I have been a member of Singing Women of Texas, Southeast Chapter. I joined this group of Christian singers because I had a need for choral music other than what I was receiving in the contemporary praise and worship in my church. What I did not know was this group was not only a choir. It was a sisterhood of women committed to the Lord Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. It was a group that would pray for you and support you in whatever need you have. I now serve my Lord as a musician for this group. I feel that I am fulfilling what God wants for me at this time in my life. I thank Him every time we sing His praises and give witness to our Lord.
I have been with SWOT for over 20 years. As a ministry, the chapter takes its purpose very seriously. Each month, we rehearse three hours on concert days and follow-up with an evening performance. It's a long day for some of our "senior" members, but we love sharing the gospel in song. On ministry days, our ladies visit prisons, senior homes, hospitals, special needs facilities and we share our love and music with the residents there.
As a fellowship, this group of ladies is hands-down the most supportive and gracious group of believers I have ever been a part of. I love every one of them and I always look forward to our next event.
