Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Children & Youth, Community Foundations, Equestrian, Philanthropy, Sports, Youth Centers & Clubs, Youth Development - Religious Leadership
Mission: Our mission is to help today's youth become the leaders of tomorrow they were meant to be, by helping them heal hearts and minds from childhood trauma, abandonment, and pain so deep in their hearts that it will affect their whole lives. While at the same time making sure they have a chance to just be kids and have fun that is why we have a variety of therapeutic activities and classes. We have a psychologist-approved program that will ensure that by the time they graduate from our 6-phase program to move on their own, they will be stable not just physically but mentally and emotionally as well. So they can be stable productive citizens. Our graduation process includes a small monetary grant that will cover the first and last, and a deposit of any place for rent that is approved by the program. by that time they will already have jobs and be able to support themselves. Our Program is a combination of educational and therapeutic community programs that is an individualized program. Each child is different and experienced different traumas therefore they need different things to heal.
Results: Still in the building process but we have been working closely with 2 different children's psychologists that specialize in trauma to build the perfect variation of our program that will be sure to work. my experience as the Founder comes from personal experience and that is why I want to do this. I know if there was a program like this when I was growing up my life would have been way different.
Target demographics: traumatized and abandoned youth of all ages
Geographic areas served: Ocala, Florida & Brunswick, Georgia
Programs: On-site 24/7 access to counselors ready to be there in any way they are needed, several types of therapy like equine therapy, dog therapy, etc., outdoor therapy ( which includes caring for the animals, gardening, fishing, camping, as well as several different self-help programs, activities and classes. We will have a library and will encourage our youth to read, and self-defense classes, workshops, art classes, and home economics, We are putting together a very wide variety of educational and therapeutic activities, programs, and classes. the program will be tailored to each child's needs, so each child will have their own individualized program. We will do a 6 phase program that ensures every child leaves stable in heart and mind and when they graduate they will receive a small monetary grant for first last and deposit to any approved rental agency, this ensures they get the best start possible. we also help them train for jobs and practice interviewing as well as help them get into college there will be a lot more to the programs
