Mission: Signal-return is a Detroit community arts education center dedicated to the preservation of the art and craft of letterpress printing
Target demographics: preserve the practice and technique of letter press printing
Direct beneficiaries per year: artists and students of print-making across the Detroit region

Programs: Signal-return builds community by bringing people together in an open and collaborative arts space, by promoting the combined impact of word and image and the power of the democratic multiple, and by teaching an appreciation for creative expression combined with craftsmanship and technical expertise. We present hands-on workshops, guest artist series, open studio for experienced printers and special partnerships with other arts and culture organizations, in order to bring innovative programming to the Detroit community. Our goal is to strengthen and expand these efforts in a program that is sustainable, successful and well supported.
