Mission: Rape Response acts as advocates for victims of sexual assault and their families, facilitating their access to medical and legal services and to other supportive servies in the community. Rape Response also focuses on education for the victims, family members and the community as a whole. The goals of Rape Response are to establish and maintain a crisis support system to persons who have been victims of rape or sexual abuse and to mobilize and train a network of professionals and lay people in the area to respond to the various physical, social and attendant needs of persons who have been sexually assaulted, including the training of volunteers and the mobilization of assets.
