Mission: Our mission is to preserve the heritage of the Shelton McMurphey Johnson House for the benefit of current and future generations. We accomplish our mission by providing educational opportunities for the community and by hosting events and exhibits that highlight the people and history of Eugene.
Target demographics: Educate and preserve the history of our community.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 3,000 visitors and 100 students.
Geographic areas served: Eugene, OR
Programs: Keeping local history alive with programs and activities centered around and in the Shelton Mcmurphey Johnson House. Activities include lectures, open houses, living history displays, and artifact preservation.
