Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Community Health Systems, Health, Mental Health, Patient & Family Support, Sexual Assault Services
Mission: "Delivering care that changes people's lives." Our sexual assault advocate provide support, encouragement and referrals to victims and survivors of Sexual Assault. Our department has volunteer positions open. We are seeking people to join our powerful team of volunteers.
Results: As of today we have seven active volunteers and we are looking to keep growing.
Target demographics: women, men and children receive support and encouragement
Direct beneficiaries per year: around 500 victims of sexual assualt
Geographic areas served: All men, women, and children that have been effected by sexual assualt
Programs: Accompaniment to forensic exam, law enforcement interview and criminal accompaniment. We provide referrals to therapy, referrals with community partners in order to support the victims.
