Mission: In 1975 a few volunteers with a passion for doing good started a meals program in Folsom California. Today the agency stands at the edge of this new century, accomplished, strong, providing many services for elders, youth, schools, and families in 24 Northern California communities. SOS' responds to emerging need, creating new solutions for changed times, using its creative resources to make a difference for people and communities. The Board staff and volunteers work together to build services for people to help seniors live in their homes longer, to help kids learn community service, and to build bridges between people.
