Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services, Mental Health, Mental Health Disorders, Personal Social Services, Residential Mental Health Treatment
Mission: To raise funds for support of the serv programs, which operate through the organization's affiliates (serv centers of nj inc and serv achievement centers inc. ) these programs provide social, educational, residential and vocational services to individuals with emotional or mental disturbance.
Programs: Serv foundation raises money to provide scholarships to consumers of related companies for the purpose of attending college, and accredited technical or specialty schools. Nine consumers received scholarship assistance during fiscal year 2017. Serv foundation also holds a recovery conference each year. The conference is open to consumers of the serv related companies. The conference includes speakers on various topics such as financial literacy, nutrition, smoking cessation, and various mental health issues. 425 individuals attended the conference in 2017. Serv foundation also contributed to serv centers of new jersey for client facility improvements.
