Mission: The promotion of the decriminalization of people with hiv.
Programs: In 2014, sero's public speaking events numbered 102, equaling approximately two speaking engagements per week throughout the year. This number was almost twice the total of 53 in 2013. Speaking engagements focused on hiv criminalization, stigma and discrimination, and empowerment for people living with hiv. Events included community forums, conference presentations, trainings, and media interviews. More than 3600 people participated in these events. As was the case in 2013, hiv/aids service organizations and networks of people living with hiv sponsored many of these activities.
