Mission: The mission of the senior hub, inc. Is to advance the quality of life for older adults through advocacy, community partnerships, and a variety of direct services planned to sustain an independent, healthy aging experience.
Programs: Meals on wheels greatly improves the quality of life for older adults by providing and delivering a hot, nutritious noontime meal to homebound people in our area. In 2017 meals on wheels served 78,920 meals to 490 seniors, eligible under title iii.
retired and senior volunteer program (rsvp) recruits and places senior volunteers with nonprofit and public sector organizations to provide community service. In 2017 541 volunteers provided 106,109 hours of community service.
senior solutions program is a comprehensive information and problem resolution service for older adults and their families in the service area. The program includes handyman services, food pantry, and medical equipment lending. Outreach locates and identifies isolated elderly citizens in need of assistance and refers them to appropriate services. In 2017 senior solutions served 4,945 clients.
adult day service (ads) provides full and partial day care services outside of the home to frail individuals who need social, physical, and cognitive stimulation in a safe environment. In 2017 the ads served 70 clients for a total of 21,506 hours of care. Homecare services is a colorado certified class b homecare agency (non-medical) providing personal care, respite care (a break for caregivers), housecleaning, and other in- home supportive services. The program also facilitates caregiver support group meetings. In 2017 the homecare services program served 423 clients for a total of 21,086 hours.
