Mission: Folio's mission is to promote and deepen public appreciation of the literary arts through preservation of book collections, book sharing through library services, book-related cultural programming, and workspaces for writers and others.
Programs: Folio is an independent, member supported general interst library and cultural institution, providing access to book collections for reading, writing and research, workspaces for writers and others.
folio produces a year around program of public programming; author readings, musical programs and civic discussions. In 2016 over 1,650 audience members attended 37 programs at folio.
