Mission: Mission StatementThe mission of Chicago Regional Search and Rescue is to provide trained, certified dog and handler teams to facilitate in the search for lost or missing persons. Chicago Regional Search and Rescue is a not for profit organization dedicated to service to the community. Standards Chicago Regional Search and Rescue is an American Rescue Dog Association (ARDA) applicant unit. As such we abide by the ARDA Standards. Further information about ARDA can be obtained at The American Rescue Dog Association web site.TestingEach and every dog and handler team is tested to the ARDA standard before being allowed to search for a missing person. The unit is tested every three years by ARDA evaluators.
